Maybe as an investment as it's bound to shoot up in value. I bought the R40 Blu Ray book/boxset - I think it cost £40 at the time. It's now worth between £100-140.

Heard some of this on Tidal, and am not particulary impressed with the sound quality. The early 'bootleg' stuff I have heard in better quality - and as complete shows. These early recordings were aired, and subsequently captured by many people at home as well as ending up ni the radio vaults. There must be pristine copies out there, but these are not them. I admit the highschool stuff is a fun listen, but the Electric Lady and Agora Ballroom stuff is out there in better quality guys, c'mon.

I am also not really impressed with the haphazard way of doing that. They are not my favourite albums, but the Atlantic 4 run (Presto - T4E) and are much underrepresented. 4 tracks, 1 from each album. But I mean, Superconductor? Really? Happy to see the T4E title track make an appearance though. Weird choices all around.
And the number of live tracks that are shoehorned in. I mean - yes - technically it is chronological because those live albums were released after each album/tour cycle. But it doesn't help get a real image of how the band developed. And why the hell is there an 8+ minute Rhythm Method on here? between T4E and One Little Victory?

I am sure the box itself looks fantastic, but I am glad I din't shell out.
