The co lead singer, co keyboard player and co composer of Supertramp has died at the age of 81.
Supertramp were the second band I saw live at Earl's Court in 83.
Crime of The Century is an absolute classic and Crisis what Crisis and Even in the Quietist Moments are not far behind.
My favourite song featuring Rick on lead vocal would be From Now On

Honourable mention to Brother Where You Bound, the first Supertramp album after Roger Hodgson's departure
Fantastic band, although it was probably Roger's writing and vocals that hooked me. Sad to hear of musicians from this era passing as it was such magical period in musical history. When I think about it, I've always loved bands where the male vocalist sings in a high register. Geddy, Sting, Jon Anderson and the Supertramp singles sound. I didn't ever see them live unfortunately.
