Next month. That has come around quickly.

The new trailer has given me goosebumps.

Gotta be seen at the Imax.

I'm going to try to work through all the previous ones first - I think I've seen only the first three and that was on their release ages ago.

A scene from the first one was filmed on a Sunday, about 130 metres (I've just checked) from my place of work. Liverpool Street Station. Tom's character uses a payphone in there. A few days later the receiver had been nicked, presumably with the help of heavy duty wire cutters. I remember seeing the frayed metal cable hanging from the phone.

That was 1996, certainly a succesful and long-running franchise.

A payphone to relay a covert message, those were the days..in the midst of being chased - no hang on, there's a payphone, let me make call. fantastic.

Well Sian and I saw this at the IMAX on Sunday afternoon.

I'm still struggling to put a coherent review together. I think I need to see it again.

A big shout out however to Pom Klementieff as the totally kick-ass Paris. After seeing her in action in this, I could easily see her crossing over to the John Wick universe. Delightful to watch her and very believable (to me) that she could kick anyone's butt.

Both Sian and I agree that she steals the show.

We watched this last night. What a tremendous movie this is. The stunts are jaw-dropping and it's nice to see a selection of well-known actors popping up here and there. My favourite part was the submarine dive scenes - just crazy how they must have created that. Spectacular and it looks sumptuous in DV and the sound is cracking in Dolby Atmos. A fitting ending to the series.
