Well - Metallica covered it as you know and I think that's the version she's playing over. Doesn't seem to have recorded the amp signal, don't know why.
And yes she's going to look a bit silly when she's in her 50s. I think she'll still be a looker though.

I remember seeing Vixen supporting Deep Purple in the early 90's, and the only thing I can remember is that the lass on bass did a solo. Might well have been the 1st bass solo I'd ever seen. Took me by surprise did that.

Something I find a little jarring about her performance there is that it's basically a blues, but she doesn't use microtones at all. Nothing wrong with that but when your ear is used to traditional guitar blues it sounds a bit weird.
So in a traditional blues player would typically bend that note up half a note or put a bit of vibrato on it but she plays it so straight - which is the proper jazz tradition - that to my ear it sounds flat.
I still think that Chrissie Hynde is the woman who wears a guitar best. A Telecaster really suits her. Quite an iconic profile.

Bluesette is a classic jazz tune written by the Belgian jazz musician Toots Thielemans. Never would have imagined a nylon strung guitar version like this.
Toots was best known for his harmonica prowess, as well as being a mean whistler. But he could also play guitar decently as well. I think he'd have loved this.
I believe this is called "math rock". Yvette plays in a band called Covet and has her own signature Ibanez Talman guitar.

Crazy Doctor is one of my favourite 80s songs. Loudness and Akira Takasaki especially are criminally underrated. Also original drummer Munetaka Higuchi (yes all these names I know without the use of the Google machine) is absolutely breathtaking.
