For Sale: Priti Patel 2024 Conservative leadership campaign memorabilia.
Dame Priti's campaign to lead the Conservative Party was short-lived; she was eliminated in the first round - making these items an unusual souvenir of a unique moment in British political history.
The t-shirt is size M and in good condition, having been worn no more than 90 times.

The placard is made of high quality rigid corrugated plastic, although it did sustain slight damage (pictured in the last image) to one of the corners after a fall from my living room wall. Dimensions: 42 x 30 cm. The double-sided adhesive tape has been removed from the back and didn't leave a mark.

Both items were handed to me personally by Jonathan Gullis (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jonathan_Gullis) at an event attended by Dame Priti herself, I don't want to split them and given the provenance I'm hoping £350 is fair.

Struggling a bit to remember myself, but I think during a very fallow period in Rush world (probably before the NP disasters were revealed) I started a tongue-in-cheek thread with the title along the lines of, Rush Live Studio Webcam.
I then posted that I thought this would be a good idea. I found this quite amusing, many others did not. I think one of the replies was that I needed a slap.
Still makes me laugh to think about it.

I did wonder about that and couldn't properly remember the timing of TNMS in my life. I had an odd habit of changing my username from time to time, but I scribble a lot of stuff down, so I'll have a look.
I do remember though being on another forum for a while and not realising I had a few chats with the woman who worked for Obama.
There were a lot of hazy, blurry times back then after a relationship breakup. Not a time I could survive twice.
Edit: Yes, thinking harder made me realise when One Little Victory was available to listen to I was still on my first Gateway PC, on dial-up.

Ah yes that would be JackRelax, she used to post on rushmessageboard.com. Nick, myself and a couple of others were known there as the 'Brit Trolls'. In a thread started by the admin to solicit ideas for how the site could be improved, she suggested that we should be banned.
She actually appears briefly with Obama in a White House video. I used to be Facebook friends with her, she was very upset the night that Hilary was defeated by Trump. As we all would have been, frankly, if we could have foreseen the next few years.
