With the hospitals struggling and the junior doctors on strike, shouldn't the government be recommending sensible measures like staying at home if you don't need to go out and using a face covering if you do?

It took them an age to get there but that seems to be the message now. This midweek takes me to two weeks after my jab so I should be a bit more protected. If I need to visit any supermarkets I'll make it later in the evening when things are a bit quieter. I always think it's quite selfish parenting when I hear children running around the aisles with terrible coughs. Keep them at home until they're a bit better please after all most supermarkets deliver now.

I felt a bit dry in the throat for a couple of days recently which I thought could be a harbinger of the dreaded man flu - however, it passed, to my immense relief.

I had a flu jab a few weeks ago so I like to think there's more causation than correlation going on there.
