Bit worried about this.. a RyanAir flight seems to be making multiple passes to land at East Midlands then going round again.

No other aircraft on the ground there at the moment.
Presently at 1000 feet.

I can only assume it's a training exercise. I caught sight of it with binoculars from an upstairs window, about 12km to the north. It does look like the aircraft in the image. But the status info no longer claims Rome > Berlin.

Training flight. Happens a lot at EMA
More than an hour later at midday I was cycling past Belton, about 6km to the south of the runway. It was still going round! Came right overhead.
Yeah Ryanair do an almost daily routine of take off /landings at Prestwick..
